HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1945 02 19 REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN HELD IN THE CITY HALL OF TUSTIN, FEB. 19th, at 7 P.M. 1945 PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: HOWELL, RAWLINGS, JACOBS AND PARK. ABSENT: COUNCILMAN: MAYOR KIDD. Councilman Park moved that Councitman Hubert R. Howell act as Mayor pro tem of the meeting. Councilman Rawlings seconded the motion. The motion was carried. Mayor pro tem Howell called the meeting to order and asked for the minutes of the last meeting to be read. The minutes were approved on the motion of Councilman Park and seconded by Councilman Jacobs. The motion was carried. Ex-Councilman George Broomell was before the Council with figures for the estimated cost of resurfacing South Pacific Street. Mr. Broomell said he would have the matter ready for the next councils meeting to definitely consumate the deal with the city in behalf of the property owners on the street. J. H. Brown offered to remove the old dead pepper tree in front of the Paul Snow property on West Main St., for the time it takes, guaranteeing the cost not to exceed $40.00. Council- man Park moved that the work be done on a fifty~fifty basis if Mr. Snow wanted the tree out, and Councilman Rawlings seconded the motion. The motion was carried. Councilman Park moved to pay bills. Councilman Jacobs seconded the motion. Upon the motion of Councilman Rawlings, seconded by Councilman Park, the meeting was adjourned. Chas E.
