THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, HELD IN THE CITY HALL OF
TUSTIN, MONDAY EVENING AT 7 O'CLOCK
JAN.l5, 1945
PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN KIDD, RAWLINGS, HOWELL, PARK
AND JACOBS
ABSENT WERE: NONE
City attorney, George E. Bradley was
present.
Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order at
the usual time of 7 o'clock and the minutes of the previous
meeting were read and approved on the motion of Councilman
Howell and seconded by Councilman Park. The motion was
carried.
In the communication, James A. McCulla,
Secretary of the Fire Department, notified the Council that
the Department, at the regular annual election, had elected
E. L. Kiser their Chief and Jerome C. Kidd, the Assistant
Chief. It was asked that this be confirmed by the Council,
and the matter was placed before the Council by the Clerk.
Councilman Park moved that the Council confirm the election
of Kiser as Chief and Kidd as Assistant Chief. The motion
to this effect was made by Councilman Howell, and was duly
seconded and carried.
Street work and repairs was discussed by
the members of the Board, but no definite action was taken in
regard to these matters.
Councilman Jacobs moved that the bills pre-
sented, be paid. Councilman Rawlings seconded the motion.
The following bills were ordered paid.

Collector of In.Rev. 137.91
Councilman Howell moved the adjournment of
the meeting and Councilman Rawlings seconded the motion.
Motion was bartied.
