THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, HELD IN THE CITY HALL OF
TUSTIN, MONDAY EVENING AT 7 O'CLOCK
DEC.4TH 1944
PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: KIDD, RAWLINGS,PARK AND HOWELL.
ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: GATES
ATTORNEY GEO.E.BRADLEY WAS PRESENT.
Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order and
asked the Clerk to read the miuntes of the last meeting,and
they were adopped on the motion of Councilman Park and 2ned by
Councilman Howell Motlon Carried.
In the Communications Ray Overaker Secretary of
the County League Notified the Council of the meeting and Dinner
to be held Dec. 14th at Fullerton and stated that Colonel W.E.
Evans of Yorba Linda would be the Speaker and the subject would
be future developement of Orange County. Mayor Kidd urged all
that could to attend the meeting.
Two representives of the Pythian Lodge ( Low Allen
and Bill Leinberger was before the Council to see about working
out an agreement with the property owners and the City in fixing
the drainage of the Alley back of the. E.P.Bullding. It was decided
on the move of Councilman Howell that the City rebuild the sidewalk
and the property owners to resurface the Alley to grade Councilman
Rawlings seconed the motion Motion Carried,
Philip Ebel was before the meeting asking for the
rubbish that the School is dumping on the Street in front of his
house be taken care of in a better manner. Mr. Ebel was assured
that the matter would be taken care of.
The resignization of Clyde F. Gates was read to
the Council, and Councilman Park that it be accepted with regrets
and the Members all joined with Councilman Park in regretting the
loss of Clyde from the the Council Councilman Howell moved the
second to the motiom Motion Carried,
Councilman Park moved that the Bills be paid
Councilman Rawlings and the motion Motion Carried.
Councilman Howell moved the meeting be adjourned.
Councilman Rawlings 2nd the motion. Motion Carried,
