OF THE CITY COUNCIL HELD IN THE
CITY HALL OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
APRIL 3RD 1944
PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN; KIDD,RAWLINGS, GATES, BROMELL
ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: FORNEY
ATTORNEY BRADLEY WAS PRESENT.
The minutes of the last regular meeting of Mar. 20th
were read and approved.
In the correspondance there was a letter from
Cortelyou's District Engineers Office in answer to a letter written
to them on Mar.22nd concerning the marking of the Highway turn that
comes into D Street of Tustin, Councilman Broomell moved that the City Eng
be instructed to write The Engineers Department and say that the
City Councilmen concured with suggestions made in the letter by the
Asst, Didt, Mtst.Engineer Feshenfeld and will be very glad to have
the Highway Deportment restripe the Streetand to have the cost de-
ducted from the allotments or the mantainance of Highways with in the
City limits,and will also under the direction of their consulting
Engineer make any Installments or Erections of Signs that may be su-
gested by him the second to the motion was made by Councilman Rawl-
ings and the motion Carried,
D.D.Adams of Tustin was before the Council asking a
hearing as to the Ordinance on Trailor Camps within the City and
sighted the condition of the one that was adjacent to his property
on west First Street where Dogs were allowed to run loose in the
Camp,and that they were much over crouded for the the sonitary Eq-
yipment they had enstalled,Mr.Adams stated he wished to make no hard-
ship on any of the Campsight Owners but felt that they should be asked
to live up nearer to specifications as provided by the Ordinance that
govern them. Councilman Broomell moved that the Chief of Police be in-
structed to contace the Health Department and demand immediate action
in the matter and demand that they shall meet the conditions as prov-
ided by the Ordinance that govern them and that violaters have their
license revolked or suspended until satisfactory proof of their comp-
lience with the Ordinance be made. Councilman Rawlings made the second
to the motion which carried,
Street Superintendent Claborn was instructed to hire
a Man to repair the Streets the price to be paid ninety cents per hour.
Councilman Broomell moved that the following bills
be paid, the second was made by Councilman Gates. Motion Carried.

On the motion of councilman Forney and seconed by
Councilman Gates the meeting was adjourned motion Carried.
