MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, HELD IN THE CITY HALL
OF TUSTIN, MONDAY EVENING AT 7 O'CLOCK
JANUARY 17, 1944.
PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: Kidd, Rawlings, Forney.
ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: Gates and Broomell
ATTORNEY GEO. E. BRADLEY WAS PRESENT.
Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order at the usual time
7P O'Clock P.M. and the minutes were read and approved.
on the motion of Councilman Rawlings and seconed
by Councilman Forney. Motion Carried.
In the communications Attorney Donald Harwood made formal
application for a Taxi Cab License to be granted Samuel Furgeson
His Cliant, when and if suitable location is established by him,
and all the requirements of the City License Ordinance were met
to the satisfaction of the City Council. The Business License accor-
ding to the Ordinance to be $20.00 per year and each of the three
Cabs they are to apply for a license to opperate $10.00 per year
On the motion of Councilman Forney and seconed by Councilman Rawlings
the above named license are to be granted. Motion Carried.
Councilman Forney finding it necessary to be out of the State
on account of his work made application for to be granted the priv-
ilege of leaving the State and being absent from the next two meet-
ings and on the motion of Councilman Rawlings and being regularly
seconed the privilege was granted Councilman Forney Motion Carried.
The following Semi monthly Salaries were all the bills to
be presented and were orded paid by the motion of Councilman Rawl-
ings and seconed by Councilman Forney. Motion Carried.

There being no further business coming before the Council
the meeting was adjorned on the motion of Councilman Forney and
seconed by Councilman Rawllngs. Motion Carried.
