MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, HELD IN THE CITY HALL
OF TUSTIN ON THE EVENING OF MONDAY
DECEMBER 6TH 1943 AT 7 O'CLOCK.
PRESENT,WERE: COUNCILMEN: Kidd, Rawlings, Gates,
Forney and Broomell
ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: NONE
CITY ATTORNEY GEORGE E. BRADLEY WAS ABSENT.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor Jerome C.
Kidd. The Minutes of the last meeting were read by the Clerk
and were approved.
Communications- A Card expressing thanks to the Board
for Flowers sent to the funeral of Mr.Tustin from The Family
was sent in in behalf of the Family by Miss Louge Mr.Tustins
Secretary.
A copy of Classification advice from the Local Board 172
adviseing that Jack V. Claborn had been classified as 2 A. until
June second 1944.
A letter from Juluous Has feltz complaining of the bermuda
grass and Morninglory being permitted to grow along his lands
border. This was refered to the Street Superintendent.
A letter from the League of Cities advising of the meeting
of the League at the Community Club House at San Clamonte on the
evening of thursday the Nonth of the Month, and urging a good
attendance.
A Letter from Earl Murry of Alturos Cal. with a check
for the amount of the Taxes on his Lot on N.C.Street, but for-
ther Protesting the amount of his weed charges. This communi-
cation was ordered held up for a decossion later.
A Letter from Harvy Rimel& Harvy withe the amount of
the Claim of F.C.Silver for erronious assessment on his property
This Claim was ordered held up for a Statement from H.H.Hannaford
Depudy Assessor that an error has been made in the matter.
No other business coming befor the meeting Bills were
called for and the following presented were ordedpaid.on the
motion of Councilman Forney and seconed by Councilman Rawlings
Motion carried.
