HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1943 02 15413 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN HELD IN THE CITY HALL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN MONDAY ,EVENING AT 7 O' CLOCK FEBURARY 15TH 1943. PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: KIDD, RAWLINGS, GATE, AND CAWTHON ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMAN Forney. Attorney Bradley was Present. Minutes of the previous meeting of Febuary first were read and approved. Communications, A letter from the Californla Tree service of Hollywood to the Park Department asking Permission to trim the limbs of trees that was interfearing with the Southern Cal. Edison Companys Lines in the City was read and on the motion of Councilman Rawlings and seconed by Councilman Cawthon the request was granted Motion Carried. A communication from the Division of Hiways consearning the stop sign at sixth and B Streets stated that as these streets were not on the Highway that therefore was not within their juriousdiction. and it was decided that sign must be erected in accordance with sec. 3 Art.2 of Ordinance #6 of the City. The request of Mrs. Boram of 180 S.A.Street to remove the two large trees in the curbing was held up for the Street Superlnten- dent to make further investigations. There being no further business coming before the Board bill were askfor and the following were presented and orded paid on the motion of Councilman Rawlings and seconed by Councilman Gates.
