HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1943 02 01 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN MONDAY EVENING FEBRUARY FIRST, AT 7 O'CLOCK, 1943 PRESENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: KIDD, RAWLINGS, GATES, FORNEY, AND CAWTHON. ABSENT WERE: COUNCILMEN: NONE ATTORNEY GEO. E. BRADLEY WAS PRESENT. COMMUNICATIONS, A letter from the Secretary of the County League of Cities Ray H.Overaker read to the Board and stated that at the last moment the scheduled meeting that was to of taken place was postponed due to the Program, and Mayor Kidd gave a further report on the matter as he had been in communication with the Secretary and arrangements had been made for the next meeting to be here in Tustin probobly in the K.P.Hall and a Dinner served by the Legend Aulexary, the Dinner and meeting of the League to be Febuary 24th Dinner slated to be 6:45 P.M. Mr. D.H.Martin who has recently purchased the Mountain View camp sight in Tustin From Mr. Sarratt come seeking information from the Council as to requirements for Camp Sights in the the City and all regulations governing them, and promised full co Operation in the conduct of his Camp, and asked the Cooperation of the Councilmen in keeping him in line on requirements, as it was his intent to have his Camp conducted in an orderly and afficient manner, he stated. Street Superintendent Jack V.Claborn made a request for Bill Graves to have the privilege of removing Trees in his Parking to be re- placed by flowering ones this was granted, and Claborn was to investigate the.nesessity of trimming up the large Trees in Front of 180 S.A.Street Mrs. Borans, as they are in a rather bad condition. On the motion of motion of Councilman Forney and seconed by Councilman Cawthon Claborn was instructed to secure if possible some help in getting off the brush and limbs in the Street that was more that the regular help could take of.
