HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1942 10 19402 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SEMI MONTHLY MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN HELD IN THE CITY HALL IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN OCTOBER 19,1942. COUNCILMEN PRESENT WERE: RAWLINGS, FORNEY AND CAWTHON COUNCILMEN ABSENT WERE: KIDD AND GATES. Attorney Bradley was Present. Councilman Rowlings was selected by a unamimous descision of the members of the Council to act as Mayor Pro Tem in the absence of Mayor Kidd. Minutes of the Last regular meeting of Oct. 5th was read and approved; First The first in line for business at the meeting was the first Reading reading by Title of an Ordinance to comply to the Proclamation Ord. #62 #12 of General De Witt governing the Dim out Lighting to comply withe The order City Attorney Bradley explained it was an urgent matter to get this Ordinance in force so it had its first reading by title only so as to be in line for addoption the next meeting, Ageneral discussion was had on lighting and to conforming to the requirements of the regulatlon and it was pointed out by Councilman Forney that StreetLight should come in first as an example for oth- ers to follow in light regulation and moved that the Street light should be looked after and dimmme Councilman Cawthom seconed the motion and it carried and was ordeal, Attorney Bradley gave a report on proggress of the Trailer problum and stated that he thought that most of the Trailer Camps he thought was trying to come up to the requirement of the regulations. Mr. Bradley stated that he thought Sec #1 of Ord. #9 was due for an over hauling and would give some time to studying it before making his recomendation for changeing it. Bills were held over for the next meeting there being none that were urgent. On the motion of Councilman Cawthon and seconed by Councilman Forney the Meeting was Adjourned. Chas. E.
