HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1942 07 20 JULY 20,1942 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN HELD IN THE CITY HALL IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN CALIFORNIA JULY 20,1942. Present were Councilman: Kidd, Rowlings, Cawthon and Forney Absent " Councilman Bixler. The minutes of tne last regular meeting of July 6,1942 were read and approved. Bus Service Councilman Cawthon reported that he had been informed that in the Making papers had been drawn up for a Franchise by the Winchell Bros. (Who formally ran a buss line from Tustin to Santa Ana) for a bull line from the Pacific Electric Depot in Santa And and through Tustin to the Dirageable Base. According to the report the rolling stocks are provided for, and the schedule calls for a trip every hour from six A.M to twelve Midnight. Budget for the Current The Budget for the current year was gone over by the Council Year Discussed and Auditor Harold Frank, and miner changes made to fit the present loutlay of expenses. The $1.10 rate was decided on for the Tax rate and this will clear the Bond indebtedness. On a motion of Councilman Rowlings seconed by Councilman For- ney a special Street fund of $722.50 and a Motor Vehicle fund of $760.23 and the Alcoholic Beverage fund of $165.00 was transferred to the general fund.
