MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN HELD IN
THE CITY HALL IN TUSTIN JULY 6, 1942 AT 8 P.M.
All Members of the Council were present.
The minutes of the meeting of June 15th were read and ap-
proved.
Final on The proposation of the closing of 3rd. Street running through
the closing the School grounds was the first subject to come before the
of 3rd St. meeting and there was a good showing for and against the clos-
ing present. Mr. B.F. Beswick led off with the arrgument against
the closing and was joined by Mr. Philip Ebel, Roy Browning and
others. Mrs. Jean Thorman, Mrs Marsnel Burk, Mrs Eunice Caldwell
and the School Board Secretary Walter Perozzi was on the conf-
irmative side. The subject got a thoughor going over and it was
finally descided by the Council by ordering that better Bearers
be erected for the closing of the street during school hours
and at this decission the matter was dropped.

1st reading City Attorney Bradley made the first reading of Ordinance # 56
Ord. 56-57 and # 57.
Semi annual The City Clerk gave a report on the City's finantial standing
for the cemi anual report and also a report on Court Procedings.
Financial
Report The Chief of Police was instructed to buy Radio Tubes and some

An investigation is to be made by the Street Dept. in the
abatement of dust nuisances at the East end of 3rd. Street.
The following bills were presented and orded paid on the motion
of Councilman Bixler seconed by Councilman Rollings Carried.

On the motion of Councilman Bixler and the second of Council
Rollings the meeting was adjourned as the motion Carried. .
