Minutes of the regular semi-monthly meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin,held at the City Hall, in the
City of Tustin, California, May 19, 1941. (8 o'clock, P.M.)
Councilmen present; Wilson, Kidd, Logan and Kiser. Absent
none.
Minutes of the regular semi-monthly meeting held at the
City Hall on Monday, May 5, 1941, were read and approved.
Communications were and ordered filed, except one from
the Orange County District Attorney, concerning Police Radio
Broadcasting, which was refered to the City Attorney-Preston
Turner- for investigation.
A considerable discussion,concerning a preparedness ordi-
nances took place, but no action taken.
The Clerk reported that a Petition to Disincorporate the
City of Tustin had been filed in his office.
Motion by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman Kidd,
Check Petition that after the Clerk and checked the petition for sufficient
of Disincorpc- number of names attached to same, it be refered to the City
ration Attorney for examination and report.
Motion carried and so ordered.
Motion by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman Kidd
that the following bills be allowed and warrents drawn for
the respective amounts:
Tustin Fire Department .......................... $10.00
J.A. Haskell ............................................ 7.20
The Tustin News .................................... 8.64
Southern California Edi-son Co. - ........ 2.05
Frances Logan ....................................... 3.00
Jas. Farrage, M.D. ................................. 3.00
Motion carried and so ordered.
Motion of adjournment was made by Oouncilman Kiser, sec-
onded by Councilman Ktdd.
