Minutes of the regular semi-monthly meeting of the City
Council, of the City of Tustin, held in the City Hall, in the
City of Tustin, California, on April 2l,1941.
After suggesting change of wording of certain warrants, the
minutes of the previous regular semi-monthly meeting held April
7, !941, were approved.
A communication from Mrs. Charles Logan, representing the
Ladies Auxilliary of the American Legion, concerning the sale
Sale of buttons, was read.
of
Buttons Motion by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman Logan
that the City Council reccomend that buttons should not be sold
on the streets of Tustin in competition with the sale of Poppies
of the American Legion Disabled Veterans.
Motion carried and so ordered.
After some discussion concerning the amount being charged for
Licence City Licences, Councilman Kidd and Chief of Police Stanton were
revision named as a committee to investigate same and report back to the Council.
Comm. named Motion carried and so ordered.
A letter from the P.T.A. commending the street signs recently
placed around the schools was read.
Motion by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman Kiser that
the following bills be allowed and warrents drawn for same;
