Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council, of
the City of Tustin, held in the city hall, in the City of
Tustin, California, March 4th, 1940 , at 8:00 P. M.
Present Councilmen: Wilson, Kiser, Pieper, Logan.
Absent Councilman: Huntley
Meeting called to order by D. T. Hayden, City Clerk, in
the absence of Mayor Huntley.
Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman Pieper,
that Councilman Logan act as Mayor Pro. Tem, at this meeting.
Carried and so ordered.
Minutes of the last meeting held, February 23rd, 1940
were read and approved.
Cox voices Andrew Cox was present and announced his appreciation
appreciation orally for accomplishments of his former demands.
Charlton A. M. Charlton registered oral complaint in regard to
complaint eucalyptus tree on Second Street. He stated that the tree
is dangerous and is in the street.
City Attorney Moved by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman Kiser,
salary that the salary of the City Attorney shall be $ 60.00 per
month. Carried and so ordered.
Franchise tax Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Wilson
accepted that the 2% franchise tax payment from the Southern Calif-
ornia Edison Company in the amount of $ 73.77 be accepted.
Carried and so ordered.
Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Wilson,
Bills to be that the following bills be paid and warrants drawn for
paid their respective amounts:.

First National Bank, Tustin
(service bills) 39.06
Kenneth Patton 11.55

Moved by Pieper, seconded by Kiser, to adjourn.
