HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1939 10 02313 October 2, 1939 Minutes of the City Council, of the City of Tustin, held in the City Hall in the City of Tustin, California, October 2, 1939, at 8:00 P. M. Present Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Pieper, Kiser and Wilson Absent Councilmen: None Minutes of the Iast two meetings held September 18th and 25, 1939 were read and approved. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman Wilson that the State Highway Commission, having concurred Contract with the City of Tustin's recommendation in approving and let to accepting the bid of Wells and Bresseler. It is hereby Wells and ordered that the Contract be let to Wells and Bressler and Bressler that the City Attorney, prepare said contract, same to be signed by the Mayor and City Clerk on behalf of said City. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman Permission Pieper, that the Christian Advent Church be granted permis- granted to sion to hang a cloth sign advertising barbecue dates, across hang sign Main Street just east of "D" Street sign to be 18 feet by two feet. Carried and so ordered. Permit Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman Pieper granted that Allen Holford be granted Electrical Permit. Carried Holford and so ordered. Garbage. Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman Wilson Contract that the Garbage contract, with Dr. C. E. Price be renewed Renewed for a period of one year. Carried and so ordered.
