Present Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Pieper, Kiser and Wilson Absent Councilmen: None Minutes of the last regular meeting held August 7, 1939 were read and approved. Plans for City Engineer filed plans, ESTIMATE OF QUANTITIES Project AND COSTS OF IMPROVEMENT OF MAIN STREET, CITY OF TUSTIN., No. 5 filed BETWEEN "A" STREET AND PACIFIC STREET identified as Project No. 5. Main St. im- Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman provement Pieper, that the City accept and approve the plans for plans accep- covering Main Street between "A" and Pacific, and that ted the City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids. Carried and so ordered. Resolution No. 91, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL Res. No. 91 OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, FIXING AND DETERMINING THE AMOUNT . "' introduced OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN AS A REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1939-1940, AND TO PAY THE BONDED AND OTHER INDEBTEDNESS OF THE SAID CITY DURING SAID FISCAL YEAR. Introduced by Councilman Kiser. Ordinance No. 50, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, Ord. No. 50 FIXING AND DETERMINING THE NUMBER OF CENTS ON EACH ONE introduced HUNDRED DOLLARS OF THE ASSESSED VALUATION OF THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN TO BE LEVIED AND COLLECTED AS A REVENUE TO PAY THE GENERAL RUNNING EX- PENSES OF SAID CITY, AND THE BONDED AND OTHER INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1939-1940 was in- troduced by Councilman Kiser. Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman Bills to be Pieper, that the following bills be paid and warrants paid drawn for their respective amounts: City Council Expense $ 3.75 Carried and so ordered.
