Olson, Governor of the State of California, having declared July 3, 1939 a legal holiday, the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin, was held in the City Hall in the City of Tustin, California, July 5, 1939 at 8:00 P. M. Present Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Pieper, Kiser and Wilson Absent Councilmen: None Minutes of the last regular meeting held June 19, 1939 were read and approved. The Mayor having submitted to the City Council Planning his selection and appointment to the Planning Com- Commission Comission, Ray Aunger, S. F. Babcock, to act for a appointments period of two years, Jerome Kidd, George Howley to approved act for a period of three years, and designating the three ex-officio members J. A. Woolley, City Engineer Morris Cain, City Attorney, and George A. Smith, Assistant Fire Chief, and such selection having been submitted to the City Council, it was regularly moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Wilson that the selection be approved, and that the City Clerk be instructed to notify the above members of their appointment. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Council- Map of pro- man Pieper, that a request be forwarded to the Orange posed sub- County Planning Commission, that a map of all pro- divisions posed sub-divisions, located within a radius of to be referred three miles of the city limits of the City of Tustin to City Council be referred to the City Council of the City of Tustin for consideration. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Council- Res. No. 90 man Kiser, that Resolution No. 90, A RESOLUTION approved and OVERULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO REPORT OF adopted STREET SUPERINTENDENT ON WEED CLEANING AND THE EX- PENSES THEREOF, APPROVING REPORT, AND ORDERING A COPY THEREOF FILED WITH THE CITY ASSESSOR AND CITY TAX COLLECTOR, be approved and adopted. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Council- Travelers' man Kiser, that Travelers Insurance Policy No. Insurance 248650, covering Non-ownership Liability for a to be paid period of one year, ending July 5, 1940, be approved and that the premium in the sum of $ 18.70 be paid. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Council- man Logan that the following bills be paid and war- rants be drawn for their respective amounts: Bills to be paid Tustin Water Works $ 120.00 First National Ban, Tustin ( service bills) 36.53 Tustin Hardware Company 17.81 Stare Glove Company 37.08 Harold Carson 3.90 George Balzer 14.12 Beckers Garage 1.42 McCoy's Sheet Metal Works 3.09 Central Auto Body Works 14.44 F.
