Minutes of the regular meeting of the City
Council, of the City of Tustin, held in the
City Hall, in the City of Tustin, California,
May 15, 1939 at 8:00 P. M.
Present Councilmen: Huntley, Kiser, Wilson
Absent Councilmen: Logan, Pieper
Minutes of the last regular meeting held
May 1, 1939 were read and approved.
Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by
Councilman Wilson, that Resolution No. 86, A
RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CITY STREET SUPERINTENDENT

adopted SEEDS OF A WINGY OR DOWNEY NATURE AND ATTAIN
SUCH A LARGE GROWTH AS TO BECOME A FIRE MENACE
WHEN DRY AND WHICH ARE NOXIOUS AND DANGEROUS,
GROWING UPON CERTAIN STREETS, SIDEWALkS AND PRIVATE
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN, BY HAVING THE
WEEDS REFERRED TO, REMOVED, be introduced and adopted;
carried and so ordered.
Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Council-
man Wilson, that Resolution No. 87, A RESOLUTION AP-
Res. No. 87 PROVING AND ADOPTING BUDGET FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF
introduced one quarter cent GAS TAX FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1939-
and adopted 1940 ALOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE OTHER
THAN. STATE HIGHWAYS IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN, be intro-
duced and adopted. Carried and so ordered.
Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Council-
man Wilson, that the following bills be payed and
warrants be drawn for their respective amounts:
Bills to Mark L. Hart $ 21.37
be paid Lois Kiser 4.50
H. D. Carson 3.64
F. H. Holford 50.00
Frank Downey 20.70
Wayne Runnells 1.25
Carried and so ordered.
Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Council-
man Wilson, to adjourn. Carried and so ordered.
