M. Present Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Pieper, Kiser and Wilson Absent Councilmen: None Minutes of the regular meeting held April 17, 1939 were read and approved Resolution No. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman 85 adopted Pieper, that Resolution No. 85 be introduced and adopted. Carried and so ordered. Silver refunded - Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman on 1938-39 Pieper, that Fred Silver be refunded on his 1938-1939 taxes taxes for the sum of $ 4.76. Carried and so ordered. Rakes to be Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman purchases for Kiser, that the city buy one steel rake, one bamboo rake fire hall and one lawn edger for the fire department. Carried and so ordered. Auxilary given Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman permission to Pieper, that the American Legion Auxilary be granted sell poppies permission to sell poppies on the 27th day of May, 1939 without fee. Carried and so ordered. Bills to he Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman paid Logan that the following bills be paid and warrants drawn for their respective amounts: Flowerday and Pierson $ 25.53 City Council expense 3.75 Tustin Fire department 13.00 F. H. Holford 60.00 Frank Downey 43.20 First National Bank of Tustin (service bills) 35.45 Tustin Hardware Company 14.63 Tustin News 7.00 Tustin Lumbar Company 11.00 Hans Johansen 13.20 Carried and so ordered Moved by Pieper, seconded by Councilman Kiser, to adjourn.
