M. Present Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Kiser, and Wilson Absent Councilman: Pieper. Minutes of the last regular meeting held April 3, 1939 were read and approved. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman Permission Kiser, that the request of the Chamber of Commerce, for granted to permission to close Main Street between Prospect and "D" close Main St. Street from noon to midnight, on April 21, 1939 be granted. on April 21. Carried and so ordered. Radio set to Moved by Wilson, seconded by Councilman Logan, that be purchased the City buy a unifrom two-way radio set for the police for police car car. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman Wilson, that the following bills be paid and warrants be Bills to be drawn for their respective amounts: paid F. H. Holford $ 60.00 Frank Downey 43.20 City Council expense 3.75 Budd Hannaford 63.75 H. D. Carson 1.26 C. A. Vance, agent 5.00 American Bitumuls Company 7.93 Carried and so ordered.
