Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council,
of the City of Tustin, held in the City Hall, in the City
of Tustin, California, April 3,1939 at 8:00 P. M.
Present Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Pieper, Kiser
and Wilson
Absent Councilmen: None
Minutes of the last regular meeting held March 20,
1939 were read and approved.
Council op- Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman
posed to Logan that the State Senator, and Assemblyman be notified
assembly bill that the City of Tustin is opposed to assembly bill No.
No 646 646. Carried and so ordered.
Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman
Opposed to Logan, that the City Council is opposed to the permanent
closing of closing of Third Street between "B" and "C" Streets for
Third St. the reason that it will jeopardize the efficiency of the
Fire Department in answering alarms in the west and north-
west portion of the city. Carried and so ordered.
