Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council,
of the City of Tustin, held in the City Hall in the
City of Tustin, California, March 20, 1939 at 8:00 P. M.
Present Councilmen: Logan, Pieper, Kiser, Wilson
Huntley
Absent Councilmen: None
Minutes of the last regular meeting, held March
6, 1939, were read and approved.
Ordinance No. 49 was read and introduced.
Franchise Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman
taxes Kiser that the 2% Franchise Tax of the Edison Company
accepted in the sum of $ 68.08 and the 2% Franchise Tax of the
Southern Counties Gas Company in the sum of $ 175.69 be
accepted. Carried and so ordered.
Red Cross Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman
to use Logan that the Red Cross be granted permission to use
fire hall the Fire Station as a first aid station, also to erect
for first two signs, and that City Clerk notify Mr. Harry Edwards
aid of the action of the board. Carried and so ordered.
Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman
Pieper, that the following bills be paid and warrants

Carried and so ordered.
Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman
Wilson, to adjourn. Carried and so ordered.
