HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1939 02 06 February 6, 1939 Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council, of the City of Tustin, held in the City Hall, in the City of Tustin, California, February 6, 1939 at 8:00 Present Councilman: Huntley, Logan, Pieper and Wilson Absent Councilmen: Kiser Minutes of the last regular meeting held January 16, 1939 were read and approved. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman Stop signs Pieper, that two reflectorized diamond-shaped STOP to be signs be erected by the Auto Club of Southem California erected at the North side of First and "D" Street also the North side of First and Prospect Street. Carried and so ordered. School zone Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman signs to be Wilson, that the City buy three (3) school girl zone purchased signs. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded, by Councilman Rate of pay- Logan, that Francis Holford be paid at the rate of 62.5 ment for cents per hour while repairing the streets, at this time. Moved by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman Bills to be Pieper, that the following bills be paid and warrants paid be drawn for their respective amounts: La Harbra Iron Works $ 15.45 Tustin Fire Department 32.00 Otto Becker 2.67 Orange County League of Municipalities 6.00 Orange County Treasurer 1.00 First National Bank of Tustin, service bills 29.21 Frank Downey 26.55 F. H. Holford 36.87 American Bitumuls Company 221.59 Flowerday and Pierson 23.44 Tustin Hardware Company 4.27 Mark L. Hart 38.28 F. S. and W. W. Hirsch 32.45 City Council Expense 5.25 E. R. Hale 1.24 H.
