M. Present Councilmen: Logan, Pieper, Kiser and Wilson Absent Councilmen: Huntley. Mayor Mayor Huntley, being absent from said meeting, and and City Clerk, D. T. Hayden, also being absent from said meet- Clerk ing, Morris Cain, Deputy City Clerk, called said meeting to absent order and suggested that some member of the Council be selected as Acting Mayor for the purposes of said meeting, and asked for nominations. Thereupon Councilman Kiser nominated Councilman Logan Logan to act as Mayor for the purposes of said meeting; said acted nomination was seconded by Councilman Pieper. It was re- as Mayor gularly moved and seconded that nominations be closed. on roll call by the Deputy City Clerk, Councilmen Pieper, Kiser and Wilson voted in favor of Councilman Logan to act as Mayor, for the purposes of said meeting. There were no negative votes, and Councilman Logan took the chair as Acting Mayor. Report Said report was thereupon read, examined, discussed and discus- considered by the Council. sed It was thereupon moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Wilson, that Resolution No. 84 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DETERMIN- Res. 84 ING THE NATURE, LOCATION AND EXTENT OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVE- to be MENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM AND adopted SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AND APPURTENANCES IN CERTAIN STREETS, PUBLIC WAYS, RIGHTS OF WAY AND PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF TUSTIN: GENERALLY DEFINING THE BOUNDARIES OF EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE SPECIALLY ASSESSED TO PAY THE COST THERE- OF, AND DETERMINING THE STATUTE UNDER WHICH IT IS PROPOSED TO CONDUCT THE PROCEEDINGS PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 2 OF THE "SPECIAL ASSESSMENT INVESTIGATION, LIMITA- TION AND MAJORITY PROTEST ACT OF 1931," AS AMENDED, be introduced and adopted. Upon roll call, the vote for the adoption of said Resolution was as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Logan, Pieper, Kiser, Wilson. Noes: Councilmen, None Absent: Councilman Huntley Carried and so ordered.
