HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1938 09 26 September 26, 1938 Regular adjourned meeting of the City Council, of the City of Tustin, held in the City Hall, in the City of Tus- tin, California, September 26, 1938 at 8:00 p.m. Present Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Pieper, Kiser and Wilson Absent Councilmen: None Minutes of previous meeting read, corrected and approved. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Kiser, Res. 82 that Resolution No. 82, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY to be ENGINEER TO FILE AN APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA adopted THROUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR A GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AND DESIGNATING THE CITY ENGINEER TO FURNISH SUCH INFORMATION AS THE GOVERN- MENT MAY REQUEST, be introduced and adopted. Ayes: Logan, Pieper, Kiser, Wilson, Huntley. Noes: None Absent: None Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Kiser, Res. 83 that Resolution No. 83, A RESOLUTION AND ORDER APPOINTING to be THE CITY ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, TO adopted PROCURE AND PREPARE CERTAIN INFORMATION AND REPORT PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE "SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AND MAJORITY PROTEST ACT OF 1931," APPROVED JUNE 8, 1931, AS AMENDED, be introduced and adopted. Ayes: Logan, Pieper, Kiser, Wilson, Huntley. Noes: None Absent: None Carried and so ordered. Expenses Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman of Comm. Kiser, that the necessary expenses incurred by the on sewer Committee on sewer project, to San Francisco, be paid to be paid when a bill covering such necessary expenditures is filed. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman Pieper, to adjourn this meeting to September 30, 1938, at 8.00 P. M. Carried and so ordered D. T.
