Minutes of the rgular meeting of the city council
of the City of Tustin, held in the City Hall in the
City of Tustin, California at 8:00 o'clock P.M., May
16, 1938.
Present Councilmen: Pieper, Kiser, Logan, Wilson
Absent Councilmen: Huntley
In the absence of Mayor Huntley, Counollman Logan
presided.
Minutes of the last regular meeting held May 2,
1938 were read and approved.
County to pay Clarence Bowman and Mrs. Campell stated that the
Library rent County through Supervisor West, will pay $15.00 per
month rent, also the Utilities Bills on the Library
Building.
Moved by Councllman Pieper, seconded by Councilman
Res. 79 to Kiser, that Resolution No. 79, a resolution ordering
be adopted the Street Superintendent to abate the public nui-
sance hereinafter declared by the City Council of the
City of Tustin, to exist in the City of Tustin, to-
wit: Weeds which bear seed of wingy or downey nature
and attain such a large growth as to become a fire
menace when dry and which are noxious and dangerous,
growing upon certain streets, sidewalks and private
property in the City of Tustin, by having the weeds
referred to, removed, be adopted. Carried and so ~-~
ordered.
Sewer report CiTy Engineer W. E. Hillyard reports that the
Irvine ~ompany are opposed to the sewer pAan~ on their
property.
