HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1937 11 15 November 15, 1937 Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin, held in the City Hall in the City of Tustin, California, November 15, 1937 at 8:00 o'clock P. M. Present Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Pieper, Kiser and Wilson Absent Councilmen: None Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved. Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Logan Sodium lights that Councilman Pieper be instructed to advise Super- to be installed visor N. E. West, to have three Sodium lights installed, one at the intersection of Laguna and "D", one at Main and "D", and one at First and "D" Streets same to be suspended over-head. Carried and so ordered. Premium of work- Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Pieper, man's Compensa- that the payment on Premium of Workman's Compensation tlon to be paid Policy in the sum of $ 259.65 be payed. Carried and so ordered. Markel Bros. City Engineer W. K. Hillyard, reported that Mar- work to be kel Brothers have completed their contract for the accepted improvement of Man and "D" Street, intersection, and that he had inspected said work and found same to be satisfactorily completed, and recommended the said work be accepted, by the Council. Main and "D" St. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Wilson, ~ work accepted that the improvement of the intersection of Man and "D" Street be accepted as satisfactorily completed and that payment therefor be made as required by law and the terms of said contract. Carried and so ordered. Bills to be Moved by Councilman Peiper, seconded by Kiser, paid that the following bills be payed and warrants be drawn for their respective amounts: City Council Expense $ 2.25 H. D. Carson 6.54 The Tustin News 3.81 Tustin Garage 15.56 Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councllman Kiser, seconded by Pieper, to adjourn. Carried amd so ordered. D. T. Hayden City Clerk Approved: W. M.
