Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council
held in the City Hall in the City of Tustin, California,
November 1, 1937 at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
Present Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Pieper, and
Wilson
Absent Councilmen: Kiser
Minutes of the last regular meeting held October
18, 1937 were read and approved.
Return curbs Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman
to be put in Logan that the City Engineer be instructed to put in return
curbs at Main and California, and Main and Pacific Streets.
Carried and so ordered.
Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman
Presbyterian Wilson that the request from the Presbyterian Church asking
Church all- for permission to erect, through the Auto Club of Southern
owed to California, two church signs, one to be placed approximately
erect signs twenty-five feet south of Ed. E. Cox's grocery store on
the East side of the Highway, the other placed approxi-
mately fifteen feet north of Harry Pieper's scales on the
West side of the Highway, be granted. Carried and so
ordered.
Riggan over- Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman
charge re- Wilson that Hybert B. Riggan be refunded, out of the gen-
funded eral fund the sum of $ 3.51 over-charge on tax bill for
weed cleaning. Carried and so ordered.
Bills to Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman
be paid Pieper that the following bills be payed and warrants
drawn for their respective amounts:
Tustin Hardware $ 3.45
W.K. Hillyard 332.32
Tustin Fire Department 12.00
Mrs. Esther C. Hayden 32.00
Southern Counties Janitor Supply 5.25
Hubert B. Riggan 3.51
First National Bank (Service bills) 21.20
Carried and so ordered.
Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman
Wilson to adjourn. Carried and so ordered.
