M. Present Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Kiser, and Wilson Absent Councilmen: Pieper "D" St. bids Sealed contractors' bids on file in theoffice of opened the City Clerk for the construction of culvert, pavement and incidental structures at the intersec- tion of "A" Street and Main Street, were ordered opened by the Mayor. The following bids were perused: Bids perused C. O. Sparks bid $ 4157.96 Stark and Schmidt bid 3413.85 Markel Brothers bid 3362.00 Contract On recommendations of City Engineer W. K. Hill- awarded to yard, it was moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Markel Bros. Councilman Wilson, that the bid of Markel Brothers be accepted, and the contract awarded to them subject to the approval of the State Highway Commis- sion. Carried and so ordered. Hart check Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Council- returned man Wilson, that the check No. 2874 of Mark L. Hart in the sum of $ 180.34 be returned to him. Carried and so ordered.
