May 17, 1937. Present: Councilman: Huntley, Logan, Kiser, Pieper, and Wilson. Absent: Councilman: None. Minutes of the regular meeting held May 3, 1937 were read and approved. Resolution No. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by 67 adopted, Councilman Kiser, that Resolution No. 67 be in- troduced and adopted: A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE STREET SUPERINT- ENDENT TO ABATE THE PUBLIC NUISANCE HERETOFORE DECLARED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN TO EXIST IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN, TO-WIT: WEEDS WHICH BEAR SEED OF A WINGY OR DOWNY NATURE AND ATTAIN SUCH A LARGE GROWTH AS TO BECOME A FIRE MENACE WHEN DRY AND WHICH ARE NOXIOUS AND DAN- GEROUS, GROWING UPON CERTAIN STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND PRIVATE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN, BY HAVING THE WEEDS REFERRED TO REMOVED. Resolution No. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Council- 68 submitted man Pieper that Resolution No. 68 be submitted to to Director of the Director of Public Works of the State of Public Works California, for approval and agreement: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN APPROVING PROJECT STATEMENT NO. 5 RE USE OF ONE-QUARTER CENT PER GALLON TAX APPORTIONED TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN, ON STREETS OF MAJOR IMPOR- TANCE IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN, AND AUTHORIZING SUB- MISSION THEREOF TO DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR APPROVAL AND AGREEMENT. Carried and so ordered. City Engineer Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Council- to proceed with man Wilson that the City Engineer, of the City of Project Statement Tustin, be instructed to proceed with project State- No. 4. ment No. 4.
