HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1937 04 05230 April 5, 1937 Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin, held in the City Hall, in the City of Tustin Caifornia, at 8:00 P.M. April 5, 1937. Present: Councilmen: Huntley, Logan, Wilson Absent: Councilmen: Kiser and Pieper. Minutes of the regular meeting held March 15, 1937 were read and approved. McBride resig- Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Wilson, that nation accepted the resignation of J. L. McBride, City Engineer, be accepted with regrets. Carried and so ordered. Adding machine to Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Wilson, be purchased that the City buy one Burroughs Adding machine. Carried and so ordered. Phone to be Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Wilson, moved that the phone be moved inside Clerk's office, and extension also be placed on Chief of Police's desk. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Wilson, American Legion that the request of the Tustin Post of the American granted permit to Legion be granted, permitting them to sell Fire sell fireworks works, within the City of Tustin during the time per- scribed by the City Ordinance, with out Fee under the regulation of the Fire Chief, of said City. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Wilson, Recreation Com- that the City appoint a Recreation Committee to mittee to be cooperate with the W.P.A. recreation project, appoint- appointed ments to be made later. Carried and so ordered. Fire hose pay- Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Wilson ments to be made that a payment of One Hundred Fifty ($150.00) Dollars, be made to F. S. and W. W. Hirsch on Fire Hose. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Wilson, Bills to be paid that the following bills be payed and warrants drawn for the respective amounts: Tustin Hardware $33.78 Tustin Fire Department 13.00 Joe Casperson 14.85 Jack Pannell 14.85 Tustin Lumber Co. 54.67 Harold Carson 18.80 Tustin Garage .75 James Farrage 6.00 Thomas Shedden 2.83 May N.
