HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1937 03 15 March 15th, 1937 Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin, held in the City Hall, in the City of Tustin, California, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., March 15, 1937. Present:Councilman Logan, Pieper, and Wilson Absent: Councilmen Huntley, Kiser. Minutes of the regular meeting held March 1, 1937 were read and approved. Logan acting Mayor Huntley being absent, it was moved by as Mayor Councilman Pieper, seconded by Wilson, that Councilman Pro. Tem. Logan act as Mayor Pro. Tem. for the purpose of said meeting. Motion carried. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Wilson, City to buy that the City buy four new tires from Herbert Miller new tires at the quoted price of One Hundred Forty Dollars, ($140.00). Carried and so ordered. Requested by the Council, that the City Clerk, be City clerk to instructed to comply with the request, as set forth write Senate in Legislative Bulletin No. 6 dated March 4th, 1937, and Congress by writing the members of the Senate from California, for support of and the member of Congress from this district, requesting H. R. 215 that they support H. R. 4215 introduced by Mr. Eicher or such other legislation as may come before the Con- gress designed to exempt public deposits from the provisions of the federal law. McBride re- Resignation of J. L. McBride was presented to the signation Board, on motion of Councilman Logan same was tabled presented until next meeting. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Wilson, Bills to be that the following bills be paid and warrants drawn for paid. the respective amounts: Automobile Club of Southern Calif. $142.34 Earl Humphrey 3.60 Joe Casperson 32.40 Jack Pannell 25.20 D.T. Hayden (stamps) 5.00 Hayden Helt 36.00 Tustin Lumber Company 62.48 Tustin Lumber Company 14.42 J. F. Holbrook Company 58.71 Jerome C.
