Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting Held
May 25, 1936
Adjourned regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tustin, held at 8 o'clock P.M.,
May 25, 1936
Present: Councilmen Huntley, Logan,
Pieper, Kiser, and Schwendeman.
Absent: None.
Meeting called to order by the Mayor.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
A proposition was submitted to the City Council
by Ed Lee, of Santa Ana, California, to open a
"Skill Ball" game to be known as "Skill Ball" in the City of
proposition Tustin, it being proposed that two licenses for
said game to be issued in the City of Tustin at
such license fee as the City Council might fix,
not to exceed $1,500.00 anually per license; said
proposition being accompanied by certified check
for $1, 000.00.
Proposition After a general discussion, and due consider-
rejected, ation given the matter, it was regularly moved by
Councilman Schwendeman and seconded by Councilman
Pieper, that said proposition be rejected and cer-
tified check returned. Motion carried.
Application An application was received from 0.V. Dart
for driveway for the installation of a thirty foot double drive-
accepted and way entrance on First Street, as per plat accom-
granted panying application. After consideration given
said matter, it was regularly moved, seconded
and carried that said application be granted.
A bill having been received from the County
Bill for road of Orange for $1,035.00 for road work, and after
work tabled discussion, it appearing that there might be some
mistake in the amount, said matter was tabled
until the next regular meeting.
A general report was received from City En-
McBride to gineer, McBride, relative to the use and applicat-
formulate plan ion of gas tax money within the City of Tustin.
for use of gas After which, upon motion regularly made, seconded
tax money and carried, City Engineer, McBride was author-
ized to formulate a plan for use and application
of said gas tax money as is available.
There being no further business, meeting
adjourned.
