HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1933 11 20 November 20th, 1933 A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin was called to order by the Mayor at eight o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the City Hall. Councilmen Present: Huntley, Kiser, Logan and Schwendeman. Councilmen Absent: Pieper. Minutes of the meeting of November 6th, 1933, were read and approved. Resolution No. 42 of the City Council of the City Resolu- of Tustin authorizing the publication of notice to sell tion a Franchise for a period of fifty (50) years, to erect, No. 42 lay, construct and maintain poles, towers, cross arms, Adopted conduits, cabels, wires and other appliances, on, along, upon, in, under and across all the public high- ways, streets, alleys and public places within the City of Tustin, and to use and operate such poles, towers, cross-arms, conduits, cabels, wires and other appliances for the transmission and distributing electricity and electrical energy for lights, heat and power purposes, and for any and all other purposes for which electricity can be used, was introduced and read. Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman Logan, that the ahove Resolution be adopted. Motion carried by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes: Councilmen, Kiser, Logan and Schwendeman. Noes: None. Absent: Pieper. City Clerk Moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman ~'~ Surety Logan, that the Surety Bond of City Clerk, J.R. Harbour, ~ Bond be accepted and filed with the City Treasurer. Motion Accepted. carried and so ordered. Motion Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman for City Schwendeman, that a warrant for $10.00 be drawn to Clerk J.R. Harbour for office expense. Motion carried and Of. Exp. so ordered. On motion of Councilman Logan, seconded by Council- man Kiser, the following bills were ordered paid and warrants drawn for the respective amounts.
