M. on the above date. Councilmen Present: Huntley, Logan, Pieper, Kiser and Schwendeman. Councilmen Absent: None. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Mr. Forney again asks action by the Council on his proposed service station at Mountain View and First Streets, and Council- man Kiser reported a partial investigation by himself and Councilman Logan, but asks more time for consideration of the matter. Time was granted to these Councilmen until April 12th, 1933. At this time Mr. Forney withdrew his request to place the pumps at this proposed site in the parkway. The request of Edward Zirinsky to sell fireworks at his location on Third and D Streets, with the approval of Chief Riehl of the Fire Department, was read and it was moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Schwendeman that the permit be issued. Carried and so ordered. Applications for permits to sell beer were read by the Clerk and it was moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Schwendeman that all applications be filed. Carried and so ordered. A communication from The Tustin Estate asking no restrictions as to distance from schools where beer may be sold be allowed, as they have an opportunity to rent their building at the corner of Main and C Streets to a wholesale grocery, who will probably handle beer. No action was taken on this request as the passing of an ordinance covering this point is first necessary. Councilman Logan reported the ordering of a battery for the Fire Truck. The reading of proposed Ordinance No. 35 was passed to the next meeting. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman Schwendeman that the meeting be adjourned to Wednesday evening April 12th at eight o'clock P. M. Carried and so ordered. P. C. Brooks Approved.
