HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1933 02 20 February 20th, 1933. The regular semi-monthly meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin was called to order at eight o'clock P. M., by the Mayor on the above date in the City Hall. Minutes of ths previous meeting were read and approved. A communication from the California League of Municipalities was read and ordered filed. Councilman Kiser reports street work all done, the tree removed at the School grounds, and the matter of planting palm trees on D Street where the acacia trees were removed was brought up. After some discussion the matter of getting these palms was left up to Councilman Pieper. Councilman Kiser and Councilman Logan reported on the fire at the corner of South B and Second Streets Saturday morning February l8th. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman Schwendeman, that the bills be paid. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Logan, that the telephone amplifier be tried at the City Hall for a period of ninety days, at a rental not to exceed $2.00 per month. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Logan that the meeting adjourn. Carried and so ordered. P. C. Brooks Approved. City Clerk (signed by J. R. Harbour W. M.
