HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1933 01 16 January 16th, 1933 The regular semi-monthly meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P. M., on the above date. Councilmen Present: Huntley, Logan, Kiser, Pieper and Schwendeman. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. A letter and resolution on the Gasoline Tax was read from the Cal- ifornia League of Municipalities, some discussion was engaged in, and it was moved by Logan, seconded by Schwendeman that we draw up a Resolution according to our form and it be passed and that we also pay the $10.00 mentioned in the letter. A communication from J. C. Kidd requesting permission to widen the drive entrance at his place of business in Mt. View and First Streets was read, and it was moved by Councilman Kiser, seconded by Councilman Logan that the City grant Mr. Kidd this permission, but that curb be cut not over ten feet on each side of the drive entrance and the work to be O.K'd by the City Street Superintend- ent. Carried and so ordered. The matter of removing trees in the l00 block on D Street was left to the discretion of Councilman Kiser assisted by Councilman Pieper; they to be given power to act if property owners agree. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Logan that the City adopt Ordinance No. 32 as read. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Logan, seconded by Councilman Pieper bills be paid. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Councilman Pieper, seconded by Councilman Logan that the meeting adjourn. Carried and so ordered. P. C. Brooks Approved. City Clerk (signed by J. R. Harbour W. M.
