HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1933 01 03 January 3rd, 1933 The regular semi-monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Tustin, was called to order by the Mayor on the above date in the City Hall. Councilmen present, Huntley, Kiser, Logan, Schwendeman and Peiper. Councilmen absent: None Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The letter from the main office of the Telephone Company was read and Messrs. Morrow and Wells of the local office appeared in person to explain the misunderstanding we had with their company. After their explanation they asked that we write the main office, stating that they had appeared before us and that the matter had been settled. F. M. Carter appeared before the board with a schedule of city licenses applying to merchants in Los Angeles, and with other merchants of Tustin engaged in a discussion of licenses. They were told that we were working on a revised ordinance covering this matter. Moved by Schwendeman, seconded by Logan that the communication from H. J. Selway be filed. Carried and so ordered. Ordinance No. 33 passed by regular order. Carried and so ordered. This ordinance covers the changing of the payment of City Licenses from semi-annually to quarterly. Moved by Logan, seconded by Pieper that the bills be paid. Carried and so ordered. Moved by Kiser, seconded by Logan that the bond of the City Treasurer be raised to $5000.00, and that a bond of $1000.00 be placed on the City Police Judge. Carried and so ordered.
