HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1932 12 12111 December 12th, 1932 The continuation of the December 5th meetng was held in the City Hall, Monday night December 12th, and was called to order by the Mayor at 7:30 P.M. All Councilmen present. Minutes of the meeting of origin read and approved. L.A.Riehl of the Fire Dept. came before the board telling of his failure to get co-operation from the telephone Company when the Fire Hall was left alone on account of smudging. The Fire Department is now 2 men short and after discussion it was left to Chief Riehl and Fire Commissioner Logan to make arrangements for extra man at the fire hall during smudging season. Councilman Kiser reported on removal of trees and trimming trees on C. Street. Chief Stanton reported on the Snell electrical connection, stating that the Edison Company set up the meter on statement from electrical inspector and had no recourse after the meter was set up. Moved by Logan, seconded by Peiper that the board relieve Judge McCharles of inspectlon duties in connection with building and that John L. Stanton be appointed inspector and all fees to revert to the City. Carried and so ordered. Ordinance No. 32 and 33 introduced by title, ammending Section # 4 to 14.
