The regular semi-monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Tustin was called to order at the City Hall by Mayor
Huntley on the above date.
Councilmen present: Huntley, Logan, Schwendeman and Kiser and
Peiper.
Councilmen absent: None.
Minutes of the previous convention read and approved.
A communication from the Edison Company with regard to the City
exemption on electric power tax was turned over to Councilman
Com. ref. Logan for report at later meeting. This is with regard to the

Councilman Peiper reported on the matter of reduction of water

Matter of automobile insurance again brought up and the Mayor
appointed Logan, Peiper and himself and the City Attorney to
investigate rates from various companies and report at re-opening
of this meeting.
Moved by Peiper, seconded by Schwindeman that meeting adjourn
to re-convene July 27th at 7:30 P.M. Carried and so ordered.
July 27th, 1932
The reconvention of the postponed meeting of July 18th was called
to order by Mayor Huntley at 7:30 on the above date. Councilmen
present: Huntley, Logan, Peiper, Kiser. Absent: Schwindeman.
Insurance
Committee A complete report by the insurance committee was made by Chairman
reports Logan and after considering various features of the different
Companies it was moved by Peiper, seconded by Kiser that the
City Attorney analyze the non-ownership policy offered by the
Travelers and if acceptable, the City approve it. Carried and so
Ordered.
It was moved by Logan, seconded by Kiser that the city take the
100-300 P.D. policy on the Police Car from the Auto Club of
Southern California on condition that the Club can furnish
evidence of full legality. Carried and so ordered. Attorney
Cain approved Travelers policy and it was accepted.
Moved by Logan, seconded by Peiper that policy on hired cars be
given to Mr. Cartwright carrying 5000 P.D. Carried and so orded.
Moved by Peiper, seconded by Logan that the meeting adjourn.
Carried and so ordered.
