HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1930 04 2149 April 21st, 1930 A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Tustin was held April 21st,,1930. Meeting called to order 8 e.M. The following were present: Trustees Crawford, Kiser, Logan, Huntley and Schwendeman. Absent: None. Meeting held at the City Hall of Tustin. The minutes of the meeting of April 7th, 1930 were read and approved. The returns of the election held April 14th, 1930 were canvassed and the following results were found: Total number of votes cast in consolidated precinct A--147 For City Trustee full term of four years: Result of H. H. Hannaford ................ 50 Votes E. L. Kiset.....................111 Chas. F. Logan..................128 Fred L. Schwendeman.............115 Scattering ...................... 1 Votes cast for a Bonded indebtednance of $13,000.00 )Yes -134 for fire apparatus and equipment purchase of land ) for fire hall and the construction and furnishing of)No- 10 a fire hall. ) E. L. Kiser, Chas. F. Logan and :red L. Schwendeman were declared elected and a certificate of election was duly authenticated and signed by the clerk and delivered to each Trustee elected. The oath of offiod was imposed and names subscribed thereto. Resolution ,ao. XIII declaring results of the election Resolution held April 14th, 1930 was introduced and read. On motion XIII passed of Trustee Kiser seconded by Huntley, Resolution Ido. XIII. was passed by the following vote to wit: Ayes: Trustees miser, Logan, Auntley and Schwendeman. hoes: Done Absent- None Motion to on motion of Trustee Logan seconded by Huntley the following bills were ordered paid and warrants drawn for the Pay Bills respective amounts: The Tustin iVews....... 19.75 Sam Jernigan .......... 14.00 Permit to j. 1. Case Co. applied for permission to install sign install post in sidewalk in front of business. 'un motion of Board permission was granted. sign Motion to print bonds Committee to invest. fire appar. motion to increase salary of Police Ch. On motion of Board the City Attorney was instructed to have Bonds Printed. E. L. miser, Chas. iogan dnd 'Im. Huntley were appointed to investigate fire apparatus and equipment. On motion of Kiser seconded by Logan the salary of Police Chief was raised $25.00 per month to be drawn from Street Fund. notion to adjourn was made and carried. Pres. of Trustees
