A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO ALLOCATE
ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM (AHFP) FUNDS FOR
STREET REHABILITATION OF WARNER AVENUE BETWEEN SR-55
FREEWAY AND RED HILL AVENUE
WHEREAS, the County of Orange appro=ed an Arterial Highway
Financing Program for the fiscal year 1992/93; and
WHEREAS, the program includes $105,600.00 in fiscal year
1992/93 for a street rehabilitation project on Warner Avenue
between SR-55 Freeway and Red Hill Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tustin has adopted a General Plan
Circulation Element which does not preclude implementation of the
MPAH within its jurisdiction; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Tustin,
hereby requests the County of Orange allocate $65,153.97 of AHFP
funds from the AHFP Program for construction of said project to
the City. This request is in conformance with the AHFP allocation
process and does not exceed ninety (90) percent of the programmed
amount or ninety (90) percent of the construction contract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Tustin, agrees to
fund its share of the improvement costs of the above indicated
fiscal year and any additional costs over the identified
programmed AHFP dollars.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Tustin, has awarded
the contract for the project on June 21, 1993 for $144,786.60.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Tustin, has 1)
designed the project improvements, and 2) completed required
preparatory work in accordance with the standards required by the
City and other affected jurisdictions involved with said project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the remaining ten ~10) percent
in AHFP funds will be transferred to the City of Tustin when
Iconstruction is completed and a final report on the project is
accepted by the County of Orange. The City of Tustin agrees to
I submit the final report to the County of Orange within ninety (90)
days after the City's acceptance of the improvements.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the city Council
of the City of Tustin held on the 21st day of June, 1993.
