SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF THE SEPTEMBER 5, 2017 CITY COUNCIL
MEETING
SUMMARY:
Due to a lack of quorum, staff recommends cancellation of the September 5, 2017 Regular City
Council meeting.
RECOMMENDATION:
Direct the City Clerk to post a Notice of Cancellation for the regularly scheduled Council meeting
of September 5, 2017. The City Council hereby waives notice of said meeting as required by
Government Code §54954.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None
BACKGROUND:
Government Code §54954 requires that each Councilmember be given notice of the date and
time of a meeting unless expressly waived.
The City Council will resume consideration of items at its regularly scheduled meeting to be
held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the Council Chamber located at 300 Centennial Way,
Tustin.
