The City Council also instructed staff to commence proceedings, provide a notice consistent with Ordinance No. 1323, and prepare a resolution designating parking spaces owned by the City of Tustin, located at the Tustin Water Yard parking lot, as a public parking area. On January 15, 2007, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1323. The City of Tustin owns the Tustin Water Yard property located at 235 East Main Street, which includes a parking area consisting of 67 parking spaces. By adopting Resolution No. 07-16, the City Council would officially designate the parking area as a public parking area. The designation would become effective on February 14, 2007, which is the effective date of Ordinance No. 1323.
