BACKGROUND:
This year's League Annual Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 5
through Saturday, September 8, 2007 in Sacramento. One very important aspect of the
Annual Conference is the annual Business Meeting when the membership takes action
on conference resolutions.
To expedite the conduct of business, each city council is being requested to designate a
voting representative and an alternate who will be present the City at the Business
Meeting. League bylaws provide that each city is entitled to one vote in matters
affecting municipal or League policy.
