A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE USE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL
SERVICES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, the Police Department has a need to purchase various
equipment to conduct the operations of the City; and
WHEREAS, Section 1624 [cj of the Tustin City Code authorizes supplies,
material or equipment to be purchased using the State Department of General
Services or the County of Orange Cooperative Purchasing Program, if the items
can be acquired less expensively and more efficiently;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Tustin, California does hereby authorize the purchase of certain furniture for the
Police Department using the State Department of General Services contract.
.PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin City Council
on the 7~h day of September 1999.
