HUIZAR, CHIEF DEPUTY CITY CLERK TO: SUBJECT: SET INTERVIEW DATE FOR AUDIT COMMITTEE VACANCY SUMMARY: Staff is requesting that the City Council set a date and time to conduct interviews to fill a vacancy on the Audit Committee due to the resignation of Steve Kozak. RECOMMENDATION: Pleasure of the City Council. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: Information was made available to the public through advertisements in The Tustin News, the Orange County Register, the City's website, and posting boards that the City Council was seeking candidates interested in serving on the Audit Committee. As of May 12, 2004, the City Clerk's Office has received one application from Lynda Jenkins. Any additional applications received by staff after the preparation of this agenda report will be provided to the City Council at the meeting of May 17, 2004.
