REGULAR BUSINESS ITEM 1
RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER/DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY
SERVICES' PROCLAMATION OF EXISTENCE OF A LOCAL EMERGENCY AND
PROCLAIMING THE TERMINATION OF THE LOCAL EMERGENCY.
City Manager Jeffrey C. Parker provided an update.
Emergency Management Coordinator Joe Meyers provided an update.
Orange County Fire Authority Division Chief Andy Kovacs provided an update.

This item seeks approval of a Council Resolution ratifying the City Manager's Proclamation
of Local Emergency in connection with the Canyon Fire 2 that threatened areas of the City
of Tustin beginning on October 9th.
Councilmember Gomez arrived at 4:58 p.m.
It was moved by Mayor Pro Tem Murray and seconded by Councilmember Clark to approve
Resolution 17-52 ratifying the City Manager/Director of Emergency Services' Proclamation
of Existence of a Local Emergency and Proclaiming the Termination of the Local
Emergency.
Motion carried: 5-0
