A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN FINDING THAT THE ADOPTED PROCEDURE FOR
FORMATION AND ELECTION OF THE PROJECT AREA
COMMITTEE FOR THE PROPOSED 1999 AMENDMENT TO THE
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE SOUTH CENTRAL
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA WAS FOLLOWED IN THE
ELECTION OF THE PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE
W[-IEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin, adopted Resolution No. 99-27 on April 5,
1999, adopting the Procedure for Formation and Election of the Project Area Committee ("PAC") for the
Proposed 1999 Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the South Central Area Rede'velopment
Project CPAC Procedures"); and
WHEREAS, the PAC election was held, pursuant to the PAC Procedures, on June 2, 1999; and
WHEREAS, Section 202 of said Procedure and Section 33385(d)(2) of the California
Community Redevelopment Law, Health and Safety Code Section 33000, et. seq., require the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Tustin to present the results Of the PAC election to the City
Council, wherein, the Council must adopt findings that all relevant portions of the Procedure regarding
the election were followed and to determine the validity of any properly filed challenges to the PAC
election; and
WHEREAS, no challenges were filed with respect to the PAC election.
NOW, TltEREFORE, TltR CITY COUNCIL OF TI:[F, CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DOES
ltF, REBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby receives the Redevelopment Agency's results
of the PAC election accompanying this Resolution as "Exhibit A" .
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds that all relevant portions of the PAC
Procedures regarding the PAC election were followed and that no challenges to the PAC election were
received prior to the close of the challenge period.
Passed, approved and adopted this 21 st day of June, 1999.
