EXTERIOR STUCCO AND REPLACE IT
RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE AT 460 EL

WITH NEW STUCCO AT THE
CAMINO REAL.
In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted June 20,
1988 by the Tustin City Council, the Community -Development Director
has the authority to approve, approve with conditions or deny
Certification of Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City
building permit for property located within a Cultural Resource
District.
The following findings are required before a Certificate of
Appropriateness is issued:
a. The proposed work conforms to the Municipal Code and design
standards which may be established from time to time by the
Cultural Resources Committee.
b. The proposed work does not adversely affect the character of
the District or Designated Cultural Resources within the
District.
C. The proposed work is harmonious with existing surroundings.
The extent of harmony shall be evaluated in terms of
appropriateness of materials, scale, size, height, placement
and use of a new, building or structure in relationship to
existing buildings and structures and the surrounding setting.

The Community Development Director has reviewed the proposal to
remove the existing exterior stucco and replace it with new stucco
at the above mentioned address and has determined that the proposed
work is in conformance with the above requirements. The existing
stucco has been cracked and is worn and will be replaced with new
stucco. The proposed work is hereby approved subject to the
following conditions:
1. No existing wood exterior elements such as fascia, window
sill or trim, etc. shall be permanently removed from the
building or covered by stucco.
2. Stucco shall be replaced in kind.. The texture of the new
stucco shall also match the existing stucco.
3. The buildings shall be repainted an appropriate color.
Stucco paint color.sh all the color of the exterior
trim elements.
